Meet Carrie

A Licensed Specialist Clinical Social Worker and Registered Play Therapist™, Carrie's passion for social work and practicing as a therapist is fueled by meeting individuals as they walk through life’s joys and difficulties, while creating for them a welcoming and inclusive therapeutic space.

Carrie understands therapy is a personal, relational journey and believes it is critical for clients to experience connection, acceptance and felt safety throughout the therapeutic process.  She is committed to creating a relationally safe space for clients to express their strengths, needs, and struggles.

Carrie has over 20 years of experience as a licensed social worker and has spent the majority of her career serving students and families as a School Social Worker.  She has specialized training and experience

in treating children and adolescents who have experienced developmental and relational trauma and is passionate about helping children, adolescents and their parents. A proud ally for the LGBTQIA+ population, Carrie believes in the importance of continuing to expand her knowledge of best practices in supporting the needs of this community and other diverse groups such as the BIPOC and Neurodivergent communities. Carrie uses a person-centered, strengths-based approach while incorporating elements of play, art, narration, dialectics, relaxation, and neuroscience based psycho-education.
